Job Description

• The candidate would be expected to maintain professionalism in terms of client service.
• In order to deliver goods and supplies, the applicant must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.
• The candidate will be accountable for monitoring vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for purchasing and receiving payment for products.
• The applicant must make brake adjustments.
• The candidate will perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and supervise all vehicle elements.
• Preventive maintenance will be expected of the candidate.
• The applicant will receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate will document cargo data, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• The candidate will be responsible for covering and securing freight.
