The Questbridge Award

The QuestBridge Scholarships 2023 are completely funded opportunities for American students. These scholarships are restricted to high school seniors who are graduating. The scholarship covers the total cost of the four-year program, which exceeds $200,000.

The Texas Match the Promise Foundation encourages families to save for college by offering matching scholarships and tuition grants to participants of the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, the state’s prepaid tuition plan.

QuestBridge collaborates with forty prestigious American institutions and universities to offer the National College Match scholarship. The scholarship covers the total cost of attendance at each institution, including tuition, lodging and board, travel expenses, books and supplies, with no parental contribution or student loans required.

It should be noted, however, that student participation in the form of work-study or student savings may be required.

The Two Scholarship Levels Provided by Quest Bridge

Here are the scholarships offered by Quest Bridge;

Guaranteed Scholarship

This scholarship will award a one-time grant of $2,000 in tuition units at current prices to the recipients. Matching Scholarships will be awarded to up to 150 applicants with the greatest GPAs. Promise Five applicants will be granted with scholarships.

Equivalent Scholarship

The participants’ purchases of tuition units up to $500 will be matched with the same type of tuition units. Scholarship beneficiaries with a family income of less than $75,000 will receive a 2:1 match. All other scholarship recipients will be paired with a single recipient.

Criteria for Questbridge Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the Questbridge scholarship, you must satisfy the following criteria:

Required language: English

  • Eligible Country: United States citizens, permanent residents, or high school students of any nationality attending high school in the United States.
  • You must have earned A’s in the most difficult courses available, such as honors, AP, and IB courses.
  • The minimum SAT or PSAT score required is 1310.
  • Essays and recommendation letters must demonstrate that you possess strong writing skills, intellectual curiosity, and determination.
  • You must have a composite ACT score of 28 or higher.
  • Additionally, you must rank within the top 5-10% of your graduating cohort.

Application Procedure for Questbridge Scholarship

This scholarship application requires the following materials:

  • The National College Match online application includes two essays and brief answer questions.
  • Two recommendation letters from essential academic teachers
  • Your secondary school guidance counselor’s Report Card
  • A Description of the School (optional, but recommended).
  • A secondary school diploma.
  • The outcomes of standardized exams. SAT or ACT scores are strongly recommended.
  • At the end of September, candidates may submit their applications. Applicants will evaluate up to 12 potential college partners for October consideration. Later in October, applicants will be notified if they have been selected as finalists.

Finalists must then submit additional materials for the colleges they have ranked. Those who have been matched with a college can rest easy in December knowing that they will receive a full four-year scholarship to their chosen institution.

If you were not chosen as a finalist in October and you were not matched with a college, you may apply to additional institutions as part of Questbridge’s regular decision process without paying an application fee.
